Social work services without accommodation. Guidance services. In this present instance, ESPO is working on behalf of Leicestershire County Council to undertake a procurement process to identify and appoint a service provider or a number of service providers to provide preventative mental health services throughout Leicestershire. These services are broken down into two lots as described below:The first lot covers services made up of three interrelated elements:— Drop-In sessions;— In-Reach;— Peer Support.This lot will be broken down further into 6 geographical sub-lots as follows of which tenderers can bid for one, some or all:— Sub-Lot 1.1 Blaby District, Oadby & Wigston District & the Lutterworth area;— Sub-Lot 1.2 Charnwood District;— Sub-Lot 1.3 Harborough District (excluding Lutterworth area);— Sub-Lot 1.4 Hinckley & Bosworth District;— Sub-Lot 1.5 Melton District;— Sub-Lot 1.6 North West Leicestershire District.The aims of the Service are to support people aged 18 and over who are recovering from or living with mental health problems to maintain maximum independence and wellbeing through the provision of:— Advice, information, signposting;— Support to people to take part in social and community activities;— Support to people to identify and use strategies to enable them to cope on a day-to-day basis.The second lot is for a County-wide Memory Support Co-Ordination Service to support people with Dementia and memory loss and their carers. This service will provide the following key elements:— Information, guidance and signposting to support, through a variety of media including face to face visits, telephone, written information and web based support.— A short-term one to one support service for people with dementia and their carers to assist them to identify and access opportunities in their local or chosen communities.— One to one support to assist people with planning for the future.— Emotional support to individuals and their carers.— A range of support groups including memory cafes, carers and peer support groups where people can access information and advice on coping strategies, and share their experiences and learn from each other.— Liaison with health and social care professionals.
