The subject of the procurement is the acquisition of artificial intelligence assistants for social and health care. The solution will be obtained as a software service (AI as a Service, AIaaS). This procurement will be carried out as a joint procurement of the Kanta-Häme, Central Finland, and Southern Ostrobothnia welfare regions. The welfare regions have made a mutual cooperation agreement for the implementation of the procurement.
The solution to be acquired consists of the following areas:
• Solution as a software service (AI as a Service, AIaaS)
• Delivery and adaptation of the solution to the contracting organization
• Support and maintenance services for the solution
• Further development and consulting services for the solution
The solution as a software service (AIaaS) includes the provision of a solution containing AI services and its usage rights as a software service, in which the Provider is responsible for the data center and capacity services required by the solution. The solution will be delivered under the principle of licensing rights. The Provider fully owns the solution that is the subject of procurement, and the intellectual property rights for the further development projects during the contract period.
