Østfold Hospital c/o the division for purchasing and contracts, hereby extends an invitation for a competition for a framework agreement for the procurement of MR-UL fusion biopsy prostate.

The tender must include either:

— Ultrasound with MR fusion apparatus with an integrated endfire rectal probe, including the equipment, or

— MR ultrasound fusion apparatus with a separate endfire rectal probe of type BK, compatible with Østfold Hospital's model Flexfocus 500/800.

The equipment shall be a special apparatus that is designed for diagnosing prostate cancer and it shall be used by radiologists and surgeons for targeted prostate biopsies. This includes a MR work station with software for marking suspected cancer lesions, as well as fusion equipment with a viewing apparatus that also allows documentation and storage areas where biopsies have been taken. Automatic fusion is required of MR and ultrasound pictures in real time. Virtual biopsies must be possible.
