Organisations in all sectors face the challenge of how to continue to deliver high quality services at less cost. This is made more challenging as budgets reduce yet demand for services increase. In order to tackle this challenge many organisations including Cheshire West and Chester (CWaC) work to minimise costs including staffing cost. IPMS (Integrated Performance Management System has been designed to reduce staffing numbers within the Council’s MIS (Management Information Systems) service and to add extra value to this and related teams. It does this by providing analysis filtered analysis reports designed to predict the needs of future analysis without individual reports having to be written by an employed report writer, which is the normal structure for MIS teams elsewhere.
IPMS brings together separate web-based applications to take advantage of single sign on and joint background databases such as postcode lookup tables, tutor lookup tables and venue tables.
