This contract is for the haulage, processing, sorting and sale of co-mingled dry recycling materials collected by Tewkesbury Borough Council from approx. 39 000 households. The dry recyclables collected include, butare not limited to, paper, card, cardboard, aluminium and steel cans, mixed glass, cartons, mixed household plastics and plastic bottles. The same materials are also collected from bring bank sites across the borough. This contract requires:

The processing of the co-mingled dry recyclable materials including the onward sale of processed recyclables to suitable end markets.

The processing of the co-mingled dry recyclable materials including the onward sale of processed recyclables to suitable end markets. The contract will be for 4 years from 14.4.2017 with the provision to extend by 1 or more periods of 1 or more years up to a maximum of 7 years.
