The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea has awarded a Service Contract to St. Mungo’s Community Housing Association for the delivery of Assertive Street Population Service.
The contract was procured via an Open Tender process.
The contract will be established for the period of 7 years, and commencing on 1 April 2024.
The objectives of this contract are:
- to help rough sleepers off the streets as quickly as possible and into accommodation, from where partner agencies can continue the resettlement process
-the longer-term goal of supporting people through pathways of housing related support and care into independent living
- to meet the needs of rough sleepers and those engaged in associated street-based antisocial behaviour
-to work with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure that people at risk of significant harm are identified and referred to appropriate services
-to signpost the most vulnerable to appropriate support services
-deliver prompt interventions and ensure people receive accurate advice on housing options.
