The Transactional Service Centre – Assessment Centre and Billing and Debt are procuring a back office processing system for revenues and benefits.

The processing system will be used to record liable person details, this will include residents and businesses in order to bill for Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates (NDR) and Business Improvement Districts (BIDS). It will be able to award discounts and exemptions, conduct enforcement and recovery proceedings in line with legislation.

It will also be a Benefits processing system where it will be used to calculate entitlement to and award Housing Benefits and Free School Meals in line with legislation and Council Tax Support and Discretionary Funds in line with the local schemes.
