Communal cleaning services:
“Routine Communal Cleaning ” is the undertaking of routine visits to the schemes indicated in Appendix “A” to undertake the routine communal cleaning core tasks listed and detailed in the communal cleaning specification in Appendix “C” for which the Contractor has calculated his annual total for each scheme.
“Responsive Communal Cleaning” is the undertaking of specific communal cleaning operations including the undertaking of optional tasks as directed by the contract manager. Responsive Communal cleaning is to be completed within the times to be agreed with the contract manager and/or within the priority times indicated on the works order to be issued by the contract manager.
“Emergency Work” means Work that is required by its very nature to be undertaken immediately to safeguard the well-being of tenants and/or occupiers, the structural stability and integrity of the client’s Property, the health and safety of the general public and works of a similar nature, and which arise during normal working hours.
“Out of Hours Emergency Work” means Work that is required to be undertaken outside of the hours of work as defined.
The fixed term Contract will commence on or around the 1.4.2019 for an initial period of 3 (three) years. The contract will be extendable up to a maximum of 3 (three) years by one or more extensions of whatever period(s) WHG specifies subject to satisfactory performance by the provider. For example: 2 + 1. The total contract term will not exceed 6 years.
