Leicester City Council wishes to appoint Supplier(s) who have the necessary skills, expertise and proven experience to deliver plant and machinery competence based courses and refresher training. This covers assessment of all the key elements in the operation of Plant and Equipment to its staff across the Authority.

This Lot contains the following types of training syllabuses required by the Authority:

1. 180 Excavator (JCB);

2. 360 Excavator Tracked below 10T;

3. Loading Shovel;

4. Dumper Side Tip and Swivel Skip up to 9T;

5. Ride on Roller;

6. Abrasive Wheels;

7. Strimmer and Brush Cutter;

8. Safe Use of Ladders and Step Ladders;

9. C.A.T. and Genny (Cable Avoidance Tool CAT e4);

10. Pitch Pot (Bitumen Boiler);

11. Lorry Loader HIAB Crane Remote;

12. Skidster Loader;

13. Fork Lift – Counterbalance;

14. Telehandler – Rough Terrain.

This Lot contains the following types of training syllabuses required by the Authority:

1. Banksman (Vehicle Marshal);

2. Securer Loader;

3. Health and Safety Awareness (Manual Handling, Work at Height, Lone Working, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and Noise);

4. Emergency First Aid at Work.

This Lot contains the following type of training syllabus required by the Authority:

1. New Roads and Street Works Act Training (NRSWA).
