The project for the construction of cycling infrastructure in Dicmo plans a network of infrastructure to improve urban mobility for residents, users, and visitors. It is planned as a broader system of pedestrian and cycling networks within the Urban Agglomeration of Split. The planned cycling route network in Dicmo consists of the main cycling axis along the route of the former railway 'Rere' Split-Sinj in the north-south direction, and the main perpendicular line through the field connecting all settlements and hamlets of the municipality of Dicmo. A cycling network connecting settlements and hamlets as well as excursion sites is added to the main network. Part of the network is planned along existing roads as a cycling path, i.e., a separate cycling lane. This network is connected by secondary cycling paths that link individual hamlets. Four categories of paths are distinguished within the network: I. main cycling path, II. cycling path, III. cycling path along the roadway, and IV. secondary cycling path. Rest areas are planned at intersections of paths, alongside existing and planned recreational zones, at locations near existing fields, and at elevated locations with significant views. Two cycling points are also planned, in the center of the municipality in the area of Kraj and in the settlement of Krušvar near the church. The project task foresees the construction and arrangement of cycling paths with a total length of 86.4 km. Of this, 7.9 km is for the main cycling path along the route of the former railway, 6.5 km is for the remainder of the main cycling path, 25.4 km is for cycling paths, 28.0 km is for cycling paths along existing roads, and 18.6 km is for secondary cycling paths.
