There is often a need to hire competence for both engineering design services for and the execution of the planning and execution of building and construction work. There is also a periodic need to supplement the builder organisation with different project administrative roles that we cannot fill ourselves due to capacity and/or competence reasons. This can, for example, be construction management, SHA coordination, etc. Finally there can also be statutory requirements for external execution, for example when independent inspections are required in accordance with the Planning and Building Act.

There is also an increasing need for assistance with technical interim reports for development plans and other early phase reviews, condition analyses, and other assignments that naturally come under the technical engineering disciplines.

The framework agreement covers the following services within technical engineering disciplines:

• Technical assistance with engineering design, reviews, and tender descriptions

• Condition assessments

• Independent inspections

• Construction management and other assistance with project administrative roles

• Other advisory services connected to the above-mentioned service areas

This can, for example, be construction management, SHA coordination, engineering design management, facilitation, and coordination in interaction processes, etc.
