Rebild Water and Sewage A/S and Vesthimmerlands Vand A/S plan to dismantle several sewage treatment plants in Vesthimmerlands and Rebild Municipality.

In this context, sewage is cut off from supply catchments in the two municipalities and sewage from catchments in Mariagerfjord Municipality to Mariagerfjord Vand A/S external cut-off system at Døstrup/Tobberup, where via external supply structure in Mariagerfjord Vand A/S supply area, it is directed for treatment at Mariagerfjord Treatment Plant in Hadsund.
