Wales and West Housing is establishing three regional programmes of new build housing construction, in North Wales, South Wales and West Wales. Within each of those regions they are setting up contracts for developments of varying sizes. In North and South Wales they have procured three contracts each for 'Small Schemes', 'Small to Medium Schemes' and 'Large Schemes', whilst in West Wales they have procured two contracts for 'Small Schemes' and Small to Medium Schemes'.
Large schemes are those with a value above 4M GBP. It is estimated that there will be 1—2 schemes per annum, with an average value of 4m GBP to 5M GBP.
The North Wales region covers all North Wales Counties, plus Ceredigion as far as Aberystwyth and Powys as far as Llandridod Wells.
Small to medium schemes are those with a value range of 1.5m GBP to 4M GBP. It is estimated that there will be 1—3 schemes per annum, with an average value of 2m GBP to 2.5M GBP.
The North Wales region covers all North Wales Counties and Powys as far as Llandridod Wells.
Small developments are defined as those with a value of up to 1.5M GBP. It is estimated that there will be 1—3 schemes per annum with an average value of 1M GBP.
The North Wales region covers all of North Wales plus Powys as far as Llandridod Wells.
Large developments are defined as those with a value of over 4m GBP. It is estimated that there will be 1—2 schemes per annum, with an average value of 4m GBP to 5M GBP.
The South Wales region includes the area from Monmouthshire across to Swansea, the Central Valleys and Powys as far as Newtown.
Small to Medium developments are defined as those with a value range of 1.5M GBP to 4M GBP. It is estimated that there will be 1—3 schemes per annum, with an average value of 2M GBP to 2.5M GBP.
The South Wales region includes the area from Monmouthshire across to Swansea, the Central Valleys and Powys as far as Newtown.
