As a national library with a social responsibility, the KB considers it important that all its services are accessible to everyone. As a semi-governmental institution, the Royal Decree is also obliged to comply with the legal requirements in the field of accessibility, as described in the General Administrative Order, the Temporary Decree on Digital Accessibility of the Government of 1 July 2018. The KB therefore makes every effort to make its websites, apps and documents (more) accessible on the basis of accessibility research reports and to be transparent about this by means of accessibility statements. In addition, we want to ensure that these reports and statements are up-to-date. To this end, we want to have our websites, apps and the documents published on them audited repeatedly.
