Wandle supports people, across south London, who need a home. Founded in 1967 as the Merton Family Housing Trust, we have since grown into an organisation with over 7 000 homes across 9 south London boroughs.We are a provider of homes for rent (social and affordable), shared ownership, outright sale, and supported housing. We also have a small portfolio of commercial properties and garages. As a developing housing association, we are helping to tackle the shortage of good quality affordable housing.
Our existing properties are as diverse as the areas in which we operate. We want to be a good landlord and contribute to building strong communities in the area we work through our community investment strategy.
We are procuring a framework agreement for mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair services for all of our buildings. The framework will be divided into lots. Companies are invited to bid for a maximum of 2 of the 3 lots.
Maintenance, repair and system installs of:
— rising mains
— communal lighting (including emergency lighting),
— lightning protection,
— fire alarm systems, automatic opening vents (AOVs), sprinkler systems, dry risers,
— communal TV aerials,
— mechanical heat recovery (MVHR) systems, and
— air handling units.
Servicing, repair and installation of communal door entry and gate entry systems and CCTV systems.
Servicing, repairs and installation of:
— communal water tanks (including legionella testing),
— communal domestic water storage tanks,
— water pumps for fresh/foul water,
— pressure vessels,
— grey water systems, and
— communal thermostatic mixing valves.
