This RFI describes the expected elements for the redesign of the alert and backup system.

RTE wants to pre-select market participants for a RFP to carry out the development of the new Alert and Safeguard System (SAS 2). The expected benefits include:

— creation of secure web front-ends;

— creation of an application core;

— creation of exchange bridges;

— creation of an application configuration space

— creation of a technical administration area of the application, implementation of solutions allowing non-interface users to be notified by an audible alarm when receiving SAS messages;
