The procurement is for urological care supplies for use by the entities named in this invitation to tender.

The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used by the units of the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District Municipalities, HUS member cities and cities, except for the City of Espoo, so that the new Espoo Hospital will use the products.

The products will be used by Eksote (South Karelia Social and Health Care Municipal Association) and Kymsote (Kymenlaakso Health and Social Services Municipal Association) and Päijät Häme Welfare Association. The organizations shall hereinafter be referred to in the call for tenders as the collective name of the subscriber. HUS Logistics is responsible for the practical organization of the tender procedure, the receipt of tenders and the management of the contract. The tenderer acknowledges that this invitation to tender involves home delivery. The home distribution agreement is made separately for the municipal care supplies distribution.

The contract period will start no earlier than September 1, 2019. The contract between the customer and the supplier defines the terms under which the supplier undertakes to deliver the products to the customer.

The items to be procured are defined in the appendix. The tender's consumption data and the estimate provided will be communicated to the tenderers only in support of their bid.

The purchase quantities quoted in the invitation to tender are estimates of consumption for one (1) year and the contract does not constitute a purchase obligation for the subscriber. Neither the subscriber nor the parties to the procurement undertake to purchase the same number of products in the future. The quantity or the proportion of an individual product in orders may be higher or lower.

Partial bids are accepted so that the bid can be submitted for only one (1) product, unless it is a product group.

Electronic Ordering System and Obligations of Selected Contractors:

The contract partners will update the contract product prices, product codes, pack sizes and images (where available) to the current electronic ordering systems. The parties to the contract shall also ensure, without separate request, that products which have been withdrawn or removed from the contract are removed from the electronic purchasing system as provided for in this Agreement. system requires.
