The service will be provided in the entire operating area of Vestische Straßenbahnen GmbH according to the client's specifications.
Each prevention team consists of 2 safety personnel and a driver. The drivers employed are primarily employees of the Vestische.
The selected and commissioned security personnel must be certified security forces who should have several years of professional experience in public transport.
All personnel deployed are clearly recognizable to customers and drivers through their service clothing. The service provider equips the safety specialists with eye-catching safety clothing. At least one master for protection and security must be present per day of operation in the security forces team.
The security forces deployed must meet and demonstrate at least the following qualification profile:
— completed training as a service worker or specialist for protection and security,
— successful participation in a de-escalation training/training,
— training as a first responder,
— Participation in a fire protection course.
Each team is equipped with a Vestische company car (passenger car) for the entire period of operation. In order to ensure the presence of prevention teams in the entire operating area of Vestische Straßenbahnen GmbH with short reaction times and response paths, individual teams of up to a maximum of 3 teams deployed in parallel are used. The local areas of focus of the prevention teams are the Recklinghausen Central Bus Station, the Gelsenkirchen-Buer ZOB and the Bottrop ZOB.
The teams' deployment times are Monday - Friday, Saturday, pre-holidays and, if necessary, other special deployment days. The teams are deployed in shifts from around 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Monday to Thursday), and on Fridays and weekends from around 6:00 AM to 4:00 AM the following day. During the contract period, at least 60 prevention team assignments per month are planned. (In this context, deployment means an active prevention team.) The detailed deployment plan of the prevention teams for the next month is determined by the client by the 15th of the current month.
