The purpose of this contract is the provision of Research and Development services in 6G technologies, within the framework of the Coordinated Project "6G technologies that allow the creation of digital twins for connected and autonomous mobility (CAM) on the roads".

With the realization of the aforementioned lot 1 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:

Identify and validate viable technologies for the reconstruction of 3D volumetric maps. For this, the study of sensing equipment such as RGBD cameras and LIDAR sensors (for its terminology in English, Light Detection and Ranging) is contemplated.

With the realization of the aforementioned lot 2 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:

Identify and validate viable AI and CV (Computer Vision) technologies to optimize volumetric video processing in terms of video quality, in order to create high-quality reconstructions of the vehicle environment and object detection. For this, the study of state-of-the-art equipment is contemplated, such as RGBD cameras and their calibration systems, or Cloud Computing (for its terminology in English, Cloud or Edge Computing).

With the realization of the aforementioned lot 3 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:

The execution and validation of the different technologies evaluated in the project. For this, real test scenarios are contemplated, such as in a road environment.

With the realization of the aforementioned lot 4 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:

Promote the results of the project within the 5G/6G ecosystem and in the automotive sector.
