Equipment geotechnical laboratory

New equipment for the geotechnical laboratory is to be procured. The procurement is divided into 10 lots. The respective requirements can be found in the service description. The tender consists of the following lots:

- Lot 1: Cyclic triaxial machine (axial load up to 10 kN and cell pressure up to 2MPa)

- Lot 2 Cyclic triaxial machine (axial load up to 25 kN and cell pressure up to 1.4 MPa)

- Lot 3 Oedometer/Consolidation Test System (soft oedometer cell with lateral support ring for measuring horizontal stresses)

- Lot 4 Oedometer/consolidation test system (oedometer cell with lateral support ring for measuring horizontal stresses)

- Lot 5 Frame shear device (possibility of applying cyclic loads)

- The 6 Rahmenschergerät

- Lot 7 HYPROP or comparable analyzer for automatic determination of the suction tension during dewatering and remoistening of cohesive and non-cohesive soil samples in the laboratory

- Lot 8 Device for automatic determination of the hydraulic conductivity of the soil in the laboratory (KSAT or equivalent)

- Lot 9 Device for automatic determination of soil water potential/capillary potential in the laboratory (WP4C or comparable)

- Lot 10 Device for automatic determination of the grain size distribution of the soil in the laboratory (PARIO or comparable)

Cyclic triaxial machine (axial load up to 10 kN and cell pressure up to 2MPa)

a) Possibility of applying cyclic loads with axial load up to 10kN and cell pressure up to 2MPa

b) Dimension of the sample up to 100mm diameter

c) Cell pressure can be changed during the experiment

d) Measurement of multiple channels at the same time

(e) Experiments with unsaturated/partially saturated and fully saturated samples

(f) Feasibility of K0 consolidation tests

g) Access to all measured values in real time to adjust further control during the experiment depending on the reaction of the sample

(h) Possibility to upgrade the temperature control of the experiment

- Software for controlling the machine/tests and reading out the data, if necessary with access to the source code (including data logger, required cables, installation option on Windows 10)

- Accessories for the preparation of samples (filter stones, membranes, O-rings, sample cookie cutters and other accessories necessary for the preparation and execution of tests with cohesive and non-cohesive soils (saturated and unsaturated) for the offered machine)

Device for automatic determination of the grain size distribution of the soil in the laboratory
