The building of the school complex special school for children with learning disabilities in 39387 Oschersleben (Bode), OT: Klein Oschersleben, Alte Hauptstraße 1 was built between 1965 and 1988. After years of intensive use and minor value preservation measures, the structural and technical facilities require a thorough renovation or adaptation to today's usage and space requirements.

For the location, in LPH 2, three proposals for future school use are to be developed in accordance with the requirements of the school and submitted to the client with a rough cost estimate. The inclusion of buildings that are still worth preserving must be examined and taken into account.

The following structural measures are to be provided:

From the point of view of economical and economical budget management, buildings 1-3 are to be completely renovated. Building 1 is to be expanded through conversions and extensions so that it meets the requirements of a modern, complex school location.

School buildings 4 and 5, which are located further on site, are stand-alone buildings and, from the point of view of the district, are no longer suitable for school operations.

At building complex 1-3, the production of a thermally insulated building envelope is required. Renewal of all windows and doors, roof insulation with roof covering, moisture barriers on the outer walls, renewal of floor coverings. The renewal of the technical building equipment, such as heating, plumbing (if necessary also the installation of a ventilation system) and electrical installation are to be provided. Security systems, such as fire alarm system, burglar alarm system, electroacoustic system and house alarm must be redesigned. The installation of sanitary facilities for teachers and students is to be redesigned. Accessibility must be ensured for the school building. The optimisation of the floor plan structure in accordance with the school's requirements and the development of a fire protection concept round off the planned measures.

After completion, the buildings are expected to reach the current state of the art. The safety systems must be provided in accordance with the current standards
