The existing overhead cranes at the Rupperswil Auenstein power plant (KRA) must be replaced by new cranes. For this reason, 2 overhead cranes with a 125 t main and a 10 t auxiliary hoist are procured. The main lift is basically only used for revisions of power plants every 10-20 years. On the other hand, the auxiliary stroke is used regularly. The new cranes will be in operation at least until the concession of the power plant in 2075. In addition to the purchase and assembly, the scope of services also includes the disassembly and disposal of the existing cranes and is shown in the price sheet (Part 6 of the tender documents) as a separate cost item. Maintenance during the warranty period is also part of this tender.
