Cobalt is seeking to enter into a contract(s) to deliver Passenger Lift Servicing and Maintenance and Disabled Lifting Equipment Servicing, Maintenance and Installation and an out of hours emergency service. The contract will be for a period of 2 years and 9 months 16 days commencing January 2018.
The contract is split into 3 lots:
Lot 1 - Passenger Lift Servicing and Maintenance;
Lot 2 - Passenger Lift Repairs Framework — top three ranked contractors from Lot 1;
Lot 3 - Disabled Lifting Equipment Servicing, Maintenance and Installations;
Lot 4 - Combination of all lots.
Bidders are welcome to apply for one or all lots.
Lot 1; Passenger Lift Servicing and Maintenance. This service covers servicing and maintenance of Passenger Lifts and repairs under the value of 1 500 GBP. The total number of passenger lifts is 6 which are across 4 general needs block and 1 located at Cobalt's office located at 199 Lower House Lane Liverpool. The estimated value of works placed through this lot based upon historical data equated to 8 000 GBP per annum (excluding VAT). Servicing is to be completed between the hours of 7:00 — 17:00 Monday to Friday, plus a call out and out of hour's emergency service at all other times 365 days per year.
Passenger Lift Repairs Framework
The top 3 Contractors from Lot 1 are to be appointed onto a framework agreement for call out repairs above the value of 1 500 GBP to passenger lifts.
The estimated value of works placed through this framework is approximately 1 500 GBP — 4 000 GBP per annum (excluding VAT).
Repairs are required to be completed between Monday and Friday 7:00 — 17:00.
Disabled Lifting Equipment Servicing, Maintenance and Installation
This service covers Disabled Lifting Equipment Servicing, Maintenance and Installation.
The estimated annual contract value placed through this lot based on historical data equates to 140 000 GBP - 160 000 GBP.
A call out service is required Monday — Friday 8:00-17:00, and an out of hour's emergency service is required at all other times, 365 days per year.
Lot 4 will be a combination of Lot 1 and Lot 3.

This service covers servicing and maintenance of Passenger Lifts and repairs under the value 1 500 GBP.
