The procurement services of the City of Turku's Group administration request tenders for timber and building boards to be procured for the use of the City of Turku's various service entities for the period 1.11.2023 (target) - 31.10.2024.

The acquisition is divided into two (2) subdivisions:

Subdivision 1 Timber (sawn timber, structural sawn timber, carpentry dry timber, impregnated sawn timber, planed timber, mouldings, etc.)

Sub-area 2 Building boards (hard, chipboard, laminate, mdf and plywood, etc.)

Acquisition is contracted in both areas with one (1) Vendor.

The different service entities of the City of Turku procure sawn timber, structural sawn timber, carpentry dry timber, impregnated sawn timber, planed timber and mouldings according to varying needs in different batches during the contract period. The Client does not commit to a specific purchase quantity or value.

The Employment Services of the City of Turku also manufactures boxes, pallets and transport platforms for export from some of the timber.

All timber grades offered must comply with THE ISPM 15 standard.

It is the supplier's duty to recommend to the subscriber the most environmentally friendly product as possible.

The supplier must have a sawing service in the quantity of timber.

A maximum of ten (10) rows of timber may not be offered. In the case of products not offered, the price comparison shall be made on the basis of the most expensive price for the product in question offered in the tender in accordance with the invitation to tender. If a product has not been offered in all offers, the product in question will be removed. the product from the comparison and does not count towards the products not offered by the provider.

The different service entities of the City of Turku procure construction boards (hard, chip, laminate, mdf and plywood sheets, etc.) according to varying needs in different batches during the contract period. The Client does not commit to a specific purchase quantity or value.

It is the supplier's duty to recommend to the subscriber the most environmentally friendly product as possible.

The supplier must have a sawing service for the quantity of the plates.

Baseboards may not offer more than five (5) rows of products. In the case of products not offered, the price comparison shall be made on the basis of the most expensive price for the product in question offered in the tender in accordance with the invitation to tender. If a product has not been offered in all offers, the product in question will be removed. the product from the comparison and does not count towards the products not offered by the provider.
