A new West Surrey Enteral Feeding Contract: ENTERAL FEEDS, ONS AND ANCILLARIES, WITH ASSOCIATED SUPPORT AND SUPPLY SERVICES for the acute hospitals of Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and of Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and community hospitals which they support, and for NHS North West Surrey Place (NWSP) and NHS Guildford and Waverley Place (GWP) (all being within NHS Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System (SHICS))

A collaborative public procurement process to award a new contract for supplier(s) to assure the supply of and deliver the feeds and ONS products and associated support and supply services for adult and paediatric patients with specific clinical nutritional need in the acute hospitals of Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and of Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and community hospitals which they support, and in NWSP and GWP areas (all being within SHICS) including within the areas in which the Authority provides patient care, to assure:

1appropriate supply of:

(i)feed and ONS to acute patients; and

(ii)feed to community patients.

2appropriate supplier-nurse support of supplied products including:

(i)domiciliary attendances for training and consultation with patients; and

(ii)hospital attendances to train patients;and

3 clear and timely communications with Health Care Professionals in Authority Dietetics departments (HCPs) by Supplier staff

as stated in further detail in the Specification in the ITT.
