1) The AKDB intends with this tender the procurement of active network components for itself and its subsidiaries.

These are new purchases in the context of replacement or expansion measures of active network components.

To this end, a framework agreement (EVB-IT purchase) for the procurement of active network components over a period of 4 years from 1.12.2019 to 30.11.2023 will be completed.

The offer, according to the active network components required in the specification, may only contain products of one manufacturer and may not be composed of products from different manufacturers;

2) Maintenance for newly procured and existing network components

Maintenance includes the delivery of replacement components, as well as incident management. Both the hardware and software that is currently being used and that will be procured in the future must be maintained and included in the future framework agreement.

The AKDB Local Area Network (LAN) almost exclusively uses Cisco Catalyst switches

Bidders must guarantee full compatibility with the existing network environment with regard to the hardware to be procured and must prove this in advance in advance.

Upon request of the client, the bidder must provide network components free of charge for a test or proof of concept (POC). From each tendered product group (at least one network component must be made available.) The exact list of test components will be issued upon request for testing The tests will take place on site at the AG The client is expected to support and supervise the tests by competent technical personnel The test scenario and the course of the tests will be communicated to the test upon request.The complete delivery of the required test equipment must be made no later than 10 working days after the test request.The duration of the test is a maximum of 20 working days;
