The University Hospital Tübingen is planning a “Center for Mental Health” at the Talklinikum.
A station extension to the Vita building, Osianderstraße 5, is intended to create space for the psychosomatic clinic to move into the valley.
The following uses are housed in the annex:
— Entrance area with recording,
— 28 beds in single and twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms,
— station rooms per bed level,
— Investigation room,
— doctors' rooms and therapy/intervention rooms for individual and group therapy,
— lounges with tea kitchens,
— teaching kitchen for specialized treatment settling for patients with eating disorders,
— common areas to meet and linger,
— group rooms,
— spaces for creative, social, body, movement, physiotherapy, family therapy and biofeedback,
— functional and technical rooms,
— clearances and areas for garden therapy.
