The County Governor of Hedmark wants to implement monitoring of selected rivers and lakes. The monitoring is a part of the implementation of the water regulation where the objective is that all water resources shall achieve good ecological chemical status.

The County Governor of Hedmark wants to implement monitoring of selected rivers and lakes. The monitoring is a part of the implementation of the water regulation where the objective is that all water resources shall achieve good ecological chemical status.

The monitoring includes physical/chemical parameters, metals, zooplankton, fish, phytoplankton, as well as surveys of periphyton algae and benthos. The assignment is announced for 2017 and 2018 — totalling 2 years. The monitoring shall carried out in line with the applicable version of guidelines for classification of environmental conditions in water.
