The supplier will deliver a quality service for both the operation of the leisure centres and of the wider physical activity services in and around the district (and as specified) such as there is no subsidy. The services includes the development of a sustainable network of leisure facilities and activities available to residents, contributing to health and wellbeing in the district through a single integrated service. The operator is required to provide the Council with professional advice on the development of a new leisure facility at Market Rasen for which the Council has agreed the capital funding. Once the plans for this new centre are finalised the management of the facility will be negotiated as a variation to contract and may result in the contract being extended. The expectation is for a single whole network transfer on a leasehold basis commencing 01062018.
