Kalundborg Wastewater Treatment Plant A/S ("Client") shall, in connection with the expansion of industry in Kalundborg, expand the capacity of Kalundborg Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (hereinafter "KCR").

The extension of KCR must be designed and tendered for implementation, and then built in collaboration with one or more contractor(s). The tender concerns a contract for client consultancy and includes technical consultancy services in connection with design, tendering, construction management, professional inspection, working environment coordination, etc.

In connection with the expansion of the industry in Kalundborg, the client will expand the capacity of Kalundborg Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. Feasibility studies, planning and dimensioning have already been carried out, as the Client has been assisted in this process by an external consultant (Envidan).

The tendered contract for client consultancy includes technical consultancy services in connection with design, tendering, construction management, professional inspection, health and safety coordination, etc.

In general, in relation to the consultant's services, it is important for the Client to achieve the following:

• Implementation of all activities so that the risk of unnecessary costs is minimized

• The planned project can be implemented efficiently and on time

• There is a safe and healthy working environment

• Extra work and delays in general are minimized

The client estimates that the construction work itself has an expected construction economy of around DKK 350 million excl. VAT (2023 prices). However, the construction economy is subject to considerable uncertainty, as much will depend on the development of the project, price development, etc. and the Client's estimates are therefore not necessarily accurate for the actual construction costs.

In clause II.2.7 of the tender notice, the Client has stated 30/09/2028 as the end date. The Client notes that this date only reflects the date on which the Client expects the final commissioning on KCR to be completed (i.e. the expected end time for construction management/supervision). The consultant contract put out to tender shall be awarded without a predetermined end date, the contract terminating when each party has fulfilled its obligations under the contract.
