Drains include: processing the aluminium sludge.
Reuse includes: all processing methods except incineration and dumping.

The aluminium sludge has Euralcode 19 09 02. Furthermore, OVAM obtained the raw material declarations (see annexes) for the use of drinking water sludge as an undesigned building material for the various drinking water purifiers.
The current agreement expires on 31/10/2022, new agreement runs from 01/11/2022 to 31/10/2023 and can be extended for a maximum of three times for one year.
For southern production, a presumptive amount of sludge of 5650 tons/year will be disposed of.
For northern production, a suspected amount of sludge of 2150 tons/year will be disposed of.
