This assignment concerns 2 plots: (A) analyzing, devising, advising and executing various communication campaigns and (B) layout assignments for printed and digital communication carriers for the City of Ghent.
This service assignment is a framework agreement on demand in which partial assignments are placed according to the needs. These needs are determined by the needs of the various services of the City of Ghent.
All-round communication agencyThe service is looking for an all-round communication agency that can deliver a total package from needs analysis to final product/evaluation, so that this agency can fully function as a subsidiary of the Communication Department and assist us in the service it offers for internal and external communication to the other services of the City.
The office must be able to apply the communication strategy and policies of the City of Ghent smoothly and independently when they are directly addressed by various services of the City of Ghent.
An (internal or external) communication campaign includes:
- needs analysis / description
- Strategy determination and media plan with suitable off and online means of communication (where strategy determination and media plan are each a separate part)
Follow-up and adjustment when necessary.
- Development of creative concept in image and copy
- Develop products and/or content into a media mix in print, digital and associated derivatives
- Evaluation and reporting
Advice/DTP officeWhen the demand for communication products exceeds the capacity of the Communication Service, it is interesting that we can outsource both (a set of) small communication products and the approach of more voluminous documents to a partner who specializes in this. This concerns, for example, the update or new layout of creative products such as brochures, flyers, infographics, newsletters, etc.
In addition, the agency ensures that each assignment fits within the guidelines and the writing and communication style of the City of Ghent.
The partner is also happy to advise on the best approach for a DTP assignment and is creative when developing, for example, graphs, tables or infographics so that bulky documents also get an attractive and accessible design.
The possibility of conversion to digital carriers/readers is an added value.
An assignment can also focus on editing or final editing of short or long copy for print or digital.
