The tender shall be carried out in order to conclude contracts for the performance of the statutory municipal rat control.
The following 6 municipalities in the Inkøbscommunskab Nordsjælland have joined forces to offer contracts for the execution of the statutory municipal rat fight: Allerød Municipality, Ballerød Municipality, Ballerup Municipality, Egedal Municipality, Fredensborg Municipality, Halsnæs Municipality and Hillerød Municipality.
The tendered grant includes carrying out the statutory municipal rat control in the participating municipalities. Excluded from the tender, however, are Ballerup Municipality's execution of the statutory municipal rat control on municipal properties and the conduct of supervision on supervisory properties by Ballerup Municipality.
The crackdown includes municipal control and prevention of rats in both urban and rural zone. The fight must be carried out all year round after notification, in addition, properties subject to supervision on supervisory properties must at least have a supervisory visit annually.
Based on historical consumption, Enter estimates that together the six municipalities have approximately 10159 reviews of rats annually and approximately 669 supervisory properties.
The contracts are expected to take effect on April 1, 2022 and expire March 31, 2026. Furthermore, municipalities have an option to individually extend contracts for up to 12 months.
For a detailed description of the tendered offering, including the requirements to carry out the control, refer to Annex 1, the requirements specification and the total tender material.
In relation to Section 49 (2) of the Procurement Act, contracting entities have chosen not to offer separate sub-agreements, based on economic and market considerations. Concretors have assessed concretely that separating and dividing the task into separate sub-agreements is not the commercially best option or recommended, not being assessed, to allow a larger number of companies to tender.
