The objective of the procurement is that HiOA (Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences), in co-operation with the selected service provider, shall safeguard the fire safety for the University College's employees, students and buildings.

Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences shall enter into separate framework agreements for fire-protection equipment and fire-protection services.

The following is included in the framework agreement for fire-protection equipment: fire-extinguishing materials, fire doors, evacuation chairs, other material and possibly service of the equipment.

The following is included in the framework agreement for fire-protection services: Fire proofing, preparation of fire documentation, fire consultancy services and fire engineering design services.

The requirement materialises in connection with various projects, planned replacements and maintenance activities, as well as acute incidents in connection with damages and vandalism.

The existing fire technical drafts shall be examined and adjusted in order to control if the drafts are in accordance with the current reality. HiOA requires implementation of fire-technical inspections in all buildings in such a way that alterations are brought up to date in the drafts.

It is expected that the contract value for fire-protection equipment is estimated to amount to 1 500 000-2 500 000 NOK, and that the contract value for fire-protection services is estimated to amount to 2 500 000-3 500 000 NOK. The amount is a guide based on historical figures.
