Vivantes Klinikum am Urban (KAU) - Ward renovation
In the existing buildings of the Vivantes Klinikum am Urban, the structurally outdated wards in the central high-rise building are to be renovated. This includes services in building construction and technical building equipment. The renovations are carried out in the wings of the building on one floor each. Interventions in the statics are not planned.
The central building is a V-shaped high-rise with 2 basement floors, the ground floor with the central main entrance and 9 upper floors. It was designed by architect Peter Poelzig and is a listed building.
The wards are to be renovated, brought to a modern level of equipment and the patient rooms are to be equipped with their own sanitary cells.
Overall, a maximum number of patient beds is to be achieved under these boundary conditions as a result of the construction project in the room constellation.
The use of public subsidies from the state, the federal government or the EU is not intended, but the requirements of Vivantes for procurement must be taken into account.
Separate specialist planning offices are commissioned for the technical equipment ELT and HLS.
