The object of this contract is the functional design, supply and installation of solutions and equipment necessary for energy and process efficiency activities, performance monitoring and three-year full-service maintenance of the equipment installed at the urban wastewater treatment plant located in Ranica (BG), lines 1 and 2.

The object of this contract is the functional design, supply and installation of solutions and equipment necessary for energy and process efficiency activities, performance monitoring and three-year full-service maintenance of the equipment installed at the urban wastewater treatment plant located in Ranica (BG), lines 1 and 2.

The lot subject to intervention is Lot 1, consisting of lines 1 and 2, the objectives to be pursued are:

1. improvement of energy performance;

2. zero use of pure oxygen in lines 1 – 2 (Lot 1); To date, the consumption of pure oxygen sent to lines 1-2 is estimated at 1,035,000 kg/year, of which 825,000 kg/year from recovery from the ozonation section and 210,000 kg/year from grid integration; the oxygen savings associated with the intervention in question will therefore be equal to 210,000 kg/year, while the consumption associated with the ozonation section will remain unchanged, equal to approximately 1,030,000 kg/year; The percentage saving of oxygen will therefore be about 17%.

3. improvement of process performance, in order to:

a. ensure constant compliance with the limits on nitrogen and phosphorus parameters, evaluated in a timely manner, in order to obtain an improvement of the Macro Indicator M6 – Quality of purified water of the RQTI resolution of ARERA;

b. cope with the increase in the influential load as a result of the future collection of new agglomerations, estimated at about 40,000 AE.

The contract comprises the following activities, divided into three distinct phases:

1. Functional design of efficiency activities

2. Supply, installation, start-up of:

a. air pumping system, consisting of 3 energy-efficient blowers, in the 2+1R configuration, including civil works to adapt the blower room;

b. air distribution and insufflation system in the oxidation tank, including hydraulic works connecting to the pumping system;

c. Intermittent aeration type advanced process controller;

d. field instrumentation required for the advanced process controller and aerated mixture recirculation control instrumentation required for operation interface with current alternating cycle lines;

e. electrical panel of power, command and control and related electrical works for connection and supply of the pumping system and all the installed instrumentation

3. Performance monitoring and "Full Service" maintenance: continuous monitoring service of energy and process performance, ordinary and extraordinary "Full Service" maintenance of all equipment, instruments and accessories installed, for a minimum duration of 3 (three) years.
