The purpose of the project is to renovate the Zoology building, housing the Zoological Museum, which is part of the creation of the Science, Culture and Society Centre on the historic Strasbourg campus. This operation is part of the vast programme of Operation Campus. The work will make the building safer, improve the conservation of specimens and modernise the museum in order to improve reception and mediation conditions with all audiences. This includes major work on R+3, the implementation of indoor climate control and the restructuring of the Museum's spaces. A strong link is planned with the Planetarium, and the spaces dedicated to university activities are maintained.
