Bergen Municipality will strengthen the focus on municipal rental properties being integrated in diverse residential environments in

a compact town in line with the municipal sector plan's social component. At a meeting on 22.02.2017, Bergen City Council adopted case no.

34/17 "Action plan for 250 more municipal rental homes 2017-2021". The aim is to procure

differentiated housing, which provides good and adapted housing for those who need it most.

The housing programme is part of the action plan in which the municipality will establish 125 residences under its own direction.

Work is being carried out on several sites and projects, but the process of detailed development takes time. This

contest will be part of the Housing Programme.

BH would like to enter into a turnkey contract in addition to the purchase of up to two sites. On the sites,

4-8 houses will be constructed. Sites are sought in Åsane, Fyllingsdalen, Kokstad, south of Flyplassvegen and parts of

Laksevåg (see the map section in chapter. B.1.1.7). The sites must be zoned for residential housing, so

that the construction process can get off to a fast start.
