Construction of a new transformer station at Svolvær.

The plant is subject to concession and is included in a large project regarding the up-grade of voltage to 132 kW for the regional network in Lofoten. Cf. resolution NVE 201202211-157.

Svolvær transformer station shall be built on the newly acquired area, near the business park Osan Syd in Vågan municipality, Nordland County. Approx. 2.5 kilometers south of Svolvær, along the E10 road.

The plant comprises a station building with a basal area of approx. 907 m2, as well as an accompanying warehouse building with an area of approx. 240 m2.

The station building is planned to be executed as concrete structures cast-on-site in the ground, and pre-fabricated concrete elements in walls and above the terrain.

The warehouse building is planned to be executed as a load-bearing structure made of steel, with foundations in concrete.

The roof structures are planned to be executed as light-weight roof elements for both buildings.
