Process Control and Information System for the power plant Amagerverket Unit 3

The Power Plant Amagerverket unit 3 in Copenhagen will be rebuild for 100 % wood pellets. In this context the existing DCS has to be replaced. The work comprises development, engineering, production, installation and test of a integrated plant control system.

The full integrated system must include:

Process Control and Information System for controlling the boiler, flue gas system and other auxiliary systems.

Turbine control and protection system.

Boiler protection system in Fail-Safe technology.

Graphical HMI (Human Machine Interface) for multiple operators.

A common engineering platform from which the entire integrated plant control system can be engineered.

Database for logging data. The database should be accessible for other applications.
