This invitation is open to all interested bidders, the Institute reserves the right to negotiate any or all parts of the information contained in this request for a proposal.

The Institute intends to accept the most economically advantageous proposal and, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal.

We require background information, methodology, technical and functional capabilities, experience and costs.

The tender document sets out the specification for tenders to carry out fieldwork and data preparation for a follow-up wave of the 2012 Skills and Employment Survey.The overarching aim of the survey is to provide data on the skills and employment experiences of working life in Britain. In 2014 it is intended to re-interview participants to SES2012. The data obtained will thus be longitudinal, allowing investigation of the dynamics of change in individuals' jobs over a two-year period. The second wave will be termed “SES2012_R”. It will provide a key distinctive resource for academic and policy analysts who wish to examine working life today, and assess and explain changes in skill and the experience of work.
