The contractor must offer a program that responds to the promotion of both physical (such as exercise), mental (such as resilience), and social health (how one interacts with each other). And this, among other things, but not exclusively in a work setting (working on health at work). 'Active learning' is central to this. The offer must be (scientifically) validated and must be adapted to a demonstrated need of the target group and the sector. And this with attention to both the lifestyle of individuals and the environment.
Through an intervention, we want to focus on the health and well-being of employees and employers. Within this public contract, the intention is to implement an existing and effective program. After all, the aim is to proceed in the short term to an effective intervention that promotes the health and well-being of employees and employers.
The assignment provides for offering the program and advice to 3,500 participants from organizations of the (social) profit sector in Flanders and this for all plots together. For the various plots, a range of 1,020 participants for the Antwerp parcel, 535 participants for the Flemish Brabant parcel, 692 participants for the West Flanders parcel, 791 participants for the East Flanders parcel and 462 participants for the Limburg parcels (explanation of the plots: see below). The participants can be both employees and managers/management of the organizations from the (social) profit sector. The offer is only aimed at SMEs (see also Annex 4 'European definition of SME').
