Since the beginning of 2016, the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) has been renovating the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin on behalf of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.

The range of services for office and special furniture is part of the project area for the initial installation of the Neue Nationalgalerie. This requires equipment that meets the high design requirements of the listed building.

The advertised service primarily includes the delivery and installation of high-quality furniture and equipment, which require particularly careful handling during installation and assembly.

The tender for VE 61010-30 includes the delivery and installation of furniture and furnishings that are required for the initial installation of the National Gallery in public and non-public areas.

The furniture advertised for these areas was sampled, evaluated and selected in several rounds of coordination in order to meet the special requirements of the listed building and to be precisely integrated into the design and corporate design of the house.

Since the functional and creative training of furniture manifests itself in its design and, for copyright reasons, it is tied to a specific model and thus a manufacturer, the furniture in this tender is mostly subject to a product relationship.

Chairs from the manufacturers b & B Italia, Fritz Hansen, Maruni, Lectus, RBM, Sedus, Stokke, Thonet and Vitra, office and interior objects from the manufacturers Lensvelt, WernerWorks and UniForLess, tables from the manufacturers Thonet and e15, lamps from the manufacturers Schätti and Anglepoise and wardrobe equipment from the manufacturer Rosconi.
