Fortis Property Care (FPC) required at least one materials supplier to provide merchant services for the following lots:
— General building,
— Plumbing & heating,
— Electrical,
— Roofing,
— Equipment hire and,
— Tools (power and hand).
All tenderers have the opportunity to go for one or more of these lots. Historically, FPC has used one main merchant for building services including plumbing/heating and another one for electrical FPC’s vision is to contract with one or more suppliers across these lot areas over a long-term contract and removing the use of uncontrolled suppliers. We know that this will not remove the need for emergency ad hoc use but should reduce hugely the maverick uncontrolled expenditure. Key to this vision is to provide an efficient, modern delivery/management method, with key focus on innovation and driving down on cost of materials and the wider service throughout the contracts’ life. Your offering in service terms is critical to help modernise our current ordering and collection procedures.
This tender has a built in SQ document which you must pass before moving on to the ITT section. If you feel your organisation cannot meet the SQ requirements/minimum standards, then please strongly consider not continuing.
