Laundry-collection services. Laundry management services. Washing and dry-cleaning services. The purpose of the tender is to obtain proposals (framework agreement) for the management of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the North West of England Fire & Rescue Services.

Working in collaboration, the Fire and Rescue Services within the North West of England consists of six regions to include:

— Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service,

— Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service,

— Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service,

— Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service,

— Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service,

— Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

The North West of England Fire and Rescue Services' work is extremely varied and includes everything from responding to emergency incidents such as fighting fires, attending road, rail and air traffic accidents, cleaning chemical spills to promoting fire safety within the North West communities.

The NWFRS contract being tendered shall have a minimum term of 2 years with fixed pricing, with a contract extension of 2 further one year periods.
