Planning and drilling of up to two HDD crossings of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 Pipelines:
One crossing is considered as the “base case” with a second considered as optional scope. Which crossing will be considered as "base case" and which as "optional" is not decided yet. It will be decided on the base case during the negotiated procedure, prior to final bid submission. The full scope includes pilot hole drilling, reaming and cleaning as well as welding, float out and pull-in of HDPE pipe.
Detailed design and execution planning (Ausführungsplanung) of both crossings of the Nord Stream Pipelines by HDD method to accommodate the OST-1-4 HV cable system.
Design and installation of steel casings at entry and exit pits.
Supply, stringing, welding and testing of HDPE duct sections as well as handling of the same between onshore and offshore crossing locations prior to installation into HDD boreholes. This includes associated marine support and sub-sea activities / operations.
Drilling of one approx. 310.0m (with 50m tail string over length at entry and exit point) HDD borehole to cross the Nord Stream 1 Pipeline and a second approx. 310.0m (with 50m tail string over length at entry and exit point) HDD borehole to cross the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline. This includes pilot hole drilling, borehole reaming, borehole cleaning as required including pipe pull-in, grout filling between pipe and borehole wall and drilling fluid management. The 50m tail string should include dredging of the area and marking of the tail string HDPE with a buoy. One crossing is base case and second is optional.
Post installation cleaning, testing and calibration, CCTV inspection and gyroscopic survey of the installed HDD landfall duct section including installation of messenger wire and sealing of both ends.
