The subject of the contract is the reconstruction and renovation of the building of the Institute of History of the University of Wrocław at 49 Szewska Street in Wrocław - Stages IIc and IId, including the East Wing and part of the
Northern, fragment between staircases K/1 and K/3. The scope of construction works will be in accordance with the design documentation and STWIORB as well as with the Description of the subject of the contract, The scope of works together with all works necessary and accompanying for the implementation of the subject of the contract is specified in detail in Appendix. No. 3 to the SWZ Design Documentation. The documentation includes, m.in a description of the subject of the contract, a construction design of changes, detailed designs, technical specifications. execution and acceptance of works, bills of quantities, bills of quantities, building permits.
The subject of the contract is the reconstruction and renovation of the building of the Institute of History of the University of Wrocław at 49 Szewska Street in Wrocław - Stages IIc and IId, including the East Wing and part of the North Wing, the fragment between staircases K/1 and K/3. The scope of construction works will be consistent with the design and STWIORB documentation as well as with the Description of the subject of the contract, and in particular will include: Securing and marking the construction site, organization of facilities; Demolition works; Construction of new ceilings; Renovation of the roof structure and sheathing; Reinforcement of the ceiling structure; Flooring, plastering and painting works; Renovation of the façade; Replacement and renovation of window and door woodwork; Stucco and conservation works of façade and interior elements; An exhibition of elements of architectural relics; Installation of new sanitary, central heating, mechanical and air-conditioning ventilation systems; Execution of a complete AV installation of lecture halls; Delivery and installation of equipment and devices; Installation of mechanical ventilation of the air-conditioning system; Execution of a new electrical and low-voltage installation; Implementation of an SMS system to monitor and supervise the operation of security systems throughout the building; Relocation of the university Internet network node for the duration of the works; Reconstruction of fiber optic connections; Renovation of door joinery and furniture; Renovation of furnishings; Execution of waterproofing; Installation of passenger lifts and platforms for people with special needs;
Earthworks; Installation of landscaping elements; Landscaping. The scope of works, including all works necessary and accompanying for the implementation of the subject of the contract, is specified in detail in Appendix No. 3 to the Terms of Reference, Design Documentation. The documentation includes, m.in a description of the subject of the contract, a construction design of changes, detailed designs, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of works, bills of quantities, bills of quantities, building permits. The contractor will take into account the fact that the works will be carried out in an active facility. The Contractor is obliged to secure the construction site in order to carry out the works in a way that prevents third parties from entering the work site. 8. The Contractor undertakes to perform the subject of the contract in accordance with the design documentation, the contract template, the Terms of Reference and in accordance with the requirements of the Act of 7 July 1994. Construction law (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 682, as amended) and other applicable regulations and standards, as well as in accordance with technical knowledge, principles of construction art and health and safety regulations. The detailed scope of obligations to perform the subject matter of the contract and the rules regarding payments can be found in the model agreement constituting the draft provisions of the agreement, Appendix No. 4 to the Terms of Reference.
The Contracting Authority recommends that the Contractor carry out a site inspection of the future work site in order to check the site of works and the conditions related to the performance of the works being the subject of the contract. On-site inspection is possible after prior telephone contact from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. The Contracting Authority does not condition the submission of the offer on the prior site visit or verification by the Contractor of the documents necessary for the performance of the contract available at the Contracting Authority's site.
