The Information Office for Fruit and Vegetables (OFG) would like tenders for a framework agreement for fridges. The contract is for a framework agreement for the procurement of fridges for primary and secondary schools in Norway. Tenderers always have a store of fridges in a central place in South Eastern Norway. OFG and local fruit grocers with a contract with OFG for deliveries of School Fruit can purchase fridges based on this contract. If a state financed scheme with School Fruit arises during the contract period, municipalities will also be able to purchase fridges based on this contract in connection with the school fruit scheme.

All Norwegian primary and secondary schools currently have an offer to participate in the subscription scheme School Fruit. The aim of the subscription scheme School Fruit is to stimulate increased intake of fruit and vegetables amongst primary and secondary school pupils, in accordance with the Directorate of Health´s dietary advice. The average call-off for fridges in the last three years is about 100 fridges, but the need was particularly large in one of these years. Based on multiple years experience, it is most realistic that call-offs will be from 60 to 100 fridges per year. Read more in the tender documentation.
