The Gambling Commission are looking for a contractor who can provide Barrister's Services.
The Gambling Commission is seeking barristers’ legal services. The Gambling Commission anticipates appointing 2 or more sets of chambers to its standing panel, who are able in conjunction to offer substantial UK (excluding Scottish) administrative and public law and regulatory law expertise, and gambling law advice and representation (including advice and representation on the conduct of the National Lottery under the third National Lottery licence). It would be highly desirable if respondents were also able to offer advice and representation in relation to employment law, contract law, information law, prosecutions, and anti-money laundering law. The Commission may also need ad-hoc advice from time to time on other legal areas. It is intended that legal representatives will be appointed to the panel for an initial period of 3 years, with the possibility of renewal on an annual basis up to a maximum of five years in total.
