The municipality of Zaanstad wishes to provide a catering facility at HoogTij for entrepreneurs, visitors and professional drivers. HoogTij is a port location with company plots and a truck park in the industrial heart of the Zaan region and the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Horeca will contribute to the business climate at HoogTij, integration of the site with the environment / city and will provide added value to the truck parking, as well as the surrounding business community. Small Steng plot IThe lots are offered plug&play. The house connections (electricity, water and sewer) are installed by the municipality of Zaanstad and are part of the rental. In addition, the parking spaces for the catering facility and the sidewalk are laid out by the municipality and made available to the entrepreneur as part of the public space. Trees have already been planted on plot II by the municipality of Zaanstad.
The realization of the building(s) and operation of the catering facility(s) is at the entrepreneur's own expense and risk. This includes at least the following:
The entrepreneur applies for all permits (environmental permit, drinks, catering, etc.);
The entrepreneur realizes and operates the building and a terrace;
The entrepreneur concludes the supply contracts (electricity, water, etc.);
The entrepreneur bears the costs associated with the possession of the building or the property (property tax, sewerage levy, insurance, etc.) and the rented land.
The entrepreneur takes care of keeping the lot clean and cleaning up (stray) waste in the public space in the immediate vicinity.
After settling at HoogTij, the entrepreneur will become a member of the Vereniging Bedrijvenpark HoogTij (VBH) and will make a (financial) contribution to park management and the management and maintenance of public space.
Small Steng plot IIThe Municipality wants two catering establishments to be realized and operated at HoogTij, for which two lots are available. Rental agreements will be concluded for the lots and building rights dependent on tenancy law will be established. The contractor must take care of the realization of the catering facility (category 1, in accordance with the applicable zoning plan) and its operation for his/her account and risk; the operating risk therefore lies with the Contractor.
The contract that is put out to tender is a concession contract.
